Filter FAQ's

Microscope filters are commonly used for adding contrast to specimens, to help add contrast for photomicrography or to tune the frequency of light being used. Darkfield stops work in conjunction with darkfield objectives to achieve darkfield observation mode.

The filters, polarizers and darkfield stops listed below are optional or replace the accessories that originally came with your microscope.
