SAS-1 Heavy Duty Articulating Arm Stand This industrial-type swing arm stand has a 20mm diameter mounting post for our F, FX or FC focusing holders for stereo microscope optics. It provides complete flexibility for horizontal and vertical adjustment and integrates well with our EM Series Stereo Microscopes.
Our heavy duty tilting and swiveling
microscope mount allows the scope to swivel 360
degrees around a vertical axis and to tilt from
vertical to horizontal positions. In spite of its
flexibility, this heavy-duty mount can still
securely lock the microscope in any orientation,
even when loaded down with a large camera system.
This mount also features a friction adjustment on
the tilting motion to prevent the unexpected
"flip-over" of the microscope upon release of the
tilting lock.
The sturdy solid metal 13 inch x 13 inch x 1.5 inch base (approx. 60 lbs.) with rubber feet provides excellent stability. Focusing holders for SAS-1 can be found on the accessories page. |

SAS-2 Heavy Duty
Articulating Arm Stand
The same great things you love about the SAS-1 but with a longer arm. An industrial-type swing arm stand again uses our F, FX or FC focusing holders. Also works great with our EM Series Stereo Microscopes.
The SAS-1 and SAS-2 are also available with a steel
wall mount with 4" x 10" spaced mounting holes.
These present a large stable surface for mounting to
a vertical surface. Wall mount adapters for mounting
to 16" on center studs are available upon request.
The SAS-1 and SAS-2 are also available with a table mount that includes 3 x 3” bolts, washers, and nuts. Requires drilling of (3) 1/2" holes through table top surface.

The SAS-1 and SAS-2 are also available with an optical bench bread board mount. Specify English or Metric. Part number for this mount is OS-0404T.

This heavy duty dual arm industrial-type boom stand with 32mm diameter mounting post is just perfect for our RZ Series Stereo Microscope. Provides complete flexibility for smooth horizontal and vertical movement and adjustment.
The BAS uses linear ball bearings to support the horizontal arm, allowing it to glide over the work surface with none of the binding inherent in other boom stands. It is now possible to scan a large flat area, such as a printed circuit board, by simply guiding the microscope with your hands.
Zero friction motion from precision roller bearings machined into cast housings along with a sturdy solid metal 13 inch x 13 inch x 1.5 inch base with rubber feet provides an excellent solution for heavy duty and industrial applications requiring smooth friction free travel.
