USB Camera Pixel Correction
The CCD sensors used in the digital USB cameras are of excellent quality, however on the rare occasion that a hot pixel or dead pixel is found, a utility is available that will provide a simple method to correct the hot pixel. The utility is called LuPixelTool, and can be used with any USB camera. Any application of a custom pixel map to a camera remains resident on the camera, so the pixel correction will be consistent even if the camera is moved to another PC.

Next, simply unpack the contents of the WinZip to a convenient folder, and follow the instructions in the PDF document. This application is only supported on Windows operating systems.
