VIEWING HEADS
Model MA952 is the Siedentopf-type binocular head and Model MA953 is the trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the 23.2mm eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings.
The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work.
Each head has the new integrated reticle angle compensation system. When the IP distance or number is changed, the crossline reticle remains perpendicular in the FOV.
EYEPIECES
10X Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.20 are standard. A Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that has a 21mm crossline reticule and guide pin is also available.
OBJECTIVE CHANGER
The smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes.
OBJECTIVES
Meiji Techno offers an assortment of S.Planachromat Infinity Corrected objectives for Transmitted Light or Incident Light .
STAGE
Ceramic coated 360 degree rotatable fully indexed stage with vernier and stage clips.
CONDENSER
All new Strain Free Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser with iris in dovetail mount.
ILLUMINATION
Powerful 30 watt Koehler halogen illumination in either transmitted and/or vertical incident, provides enhanced image quality and brightness for the observation of specimens.
POLARIZING ACESSORIES
All MT9000 Series come standard with 1/4 wave plate, Bertrand lens and first order red plate. Optional Senarmont compensator and quartz wedges are available along with attachable point counting stage.
PHOTOMICROGRAPHY
Meiji Techno offers a broad range of digital video cameras which offers excellent sensitivity, high resolution and a wide dynamic range for the most demanding brightfield and darkfield microscopy applications including clinical pathology and cytology, life sciences and geology. Some models has included software, that can preview and capture still shots and live videos to a PC or Mac with USB port or HDMI connectivity.
The ML9400 Series features include:
Brightfield:
The simplest of all the optical microscopy illumination techniques. Sample illumination is transmitted (i.e., illuminated from below and observed from above) white light and contrast in the sample is caused by absorbance of some of the transmitted light in dense areas of the sample. Brightfield microscopy is the simplest of a range of techniques used for illumination of samples in light microscopes and its simplicity makes it a popular technique. The typical appearance of a brightfield microscopy image is a dark sample on a bright background.
Polarizing Light:
A type of optical microscopy techniques involving polarized light. Simple techniques include illumination of the sample with polarized light. Directly transmitted light can, optionally, be blocked with a polarizer orientated at 90° degrees to the illumination. More complex microscopy techniques which take advantage of polarized light include differential interference contrast microscopy and interference reflection microscopy.
The ML9410, ML9420 & ML9430 Series Polarizing Microscope with large stable microscope base and limb with graduated coaxial coarse and fine focusing (with safety stop), rack and pinion focusing condenser mount, Equipped with strain free condenser and strain free 4x, 10x, 40X objectives with pre-centered transmitted and incident 6V 30W light intensity Halogen lamp with variable intensity control. The ML9400 Series is great in most applications such as Geology, Petrology, Mineralogy, Toxicology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Medicine, Pulp/Paper, Atmospheric pollution, Ceramics Technology, Forensic Medicine, etc. This series is the most suited in generating interference figures and in mineralogy in the scientific study of crystal structure and physical (including optical) properties of minerals. Specific studies include process of mineral origin and formation, classification of minerals, their geographic distribution as well as their utilization.
The ML9410, ML9420 & ML9430 Series microscopes are used in research, industry and training in many scientific fields such as:
• Environmental Research - Analysis of materials, dust and fiber
• Medicine and Biology - Determining composition of calculi, sediments and bio-crystallates
• Forensics - Identification of trace elements and materials such as explosives
• Materials Analysis - Metal, ceramics, glass, building materials, etc.
• Geology - Mineralogy, petrography, core drilling sample analysis, thin section identification
• Chemistry - Quality control of in-process or end products, compounds, pharmaceutical analysis and identification of precipitates
The ML9410, ML9420 & ML9430 Incident and Transmitted Light Series is a suitable instrument for most applications in Geology, Petrology, Mineralogy, Toxicology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Medicine, Pulp/Paper, Atmospheric Pollution, Ceramics Technology, Forensic Medicine, etc.
