EMZ-10H: Microscope Head
The EMZ-10H is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also uses a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X) Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-10H body has a long 110mm working length, an increase focal depth and a wide field number which makes it perfect for all applications ranging from industry and biological fields to education and training. Despite these advanced capabilities, the microscope operation is simple. It features Greenough optics for enhance image flatness and contrast. As a result, views of three dimensional surfaces are sharp with excellent depth characteristic. The EMZ-10H offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, popular for mounting onto bonders and probers, and offers superior performance at low cost. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. MA522: Eyepieces
MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece is included, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only)
FSC: Focus Block
Tilting focus holder with integral, adjustable illuminator port. Rack and pinion mount allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. s possible. Since there is no built-in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.
SAS-3: Stand
The SAS-3 Articulating Heavy Duty Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with vertical pillar, articulating arm and a 5/8” bonder pin mount which fits industry standard focus blocks with a 5/8” bonder pin dowel. The SAS-3 is equipped with a 406.4mm (16”) vertical pole. The SAS-3 offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible amount stability for EM stereo system up to 30 lbs. There is no loss of stability even at its furthest travel. The SAS-3 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely and smoothly left to right or can be securely locked into position with our spring-loaded handle knobs. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stabilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The SAS-3 Articulating Heavy Duty Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for large Solar panels to large semiconductor and electrical components. The SAS-3 is supported by an 80.00 lbs. base. This boom stand is affordable; low cost with high quality safety features makes this boom stand unmatched value in its class. FSC: Block
The FSC Coarse and Fine Focus Block/Holder is an inclinable coarse and fine adjusting focus block with 5/8″ diameter mounting pin to hold the stereo microscope body onto any machine or other special applications. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
Focusing holders hold the microscope body and contain the mechanism that raises or lowers the body to focus on the specimen. Complete stands include their own focusing holders. But for other kinds of tasks, however, it may be necessary to mount the microscope body on a boom arm stand or directly onto a machine or some other surface. The focusing holders below offer a range of options for such applications.
FOCUS BLOCKS (84.5mm Inner diameter/ 0.2mm revolution fine focus/ fits 5/8″ female bonder pin adapter)
FSC: Inclinable coarse and fine focusing block with 5/8″ diameter mounting bonder pin to hold the stereo body on machines or for special applications (For use with S-4300, S-4400, S-1300, S-2300, BAS-3, SAS-3, SAS-4, SAS-7 boom stand)
SAS-3: Wide Stand
The SAS-3 Articulated Arm Stand is a heavy duty industrial-type boom stand comes with a OS-LAEA (Lift Arm End Adapter) which accommodates focus blocks with a 5/8” bonder pin dowel which perfectly complements our EMZ (Zoom), EMT (Turret), EMF (Fixed) Series Stereo Microscope with the proper FS or FSC tilting focus blocks. If one of your main requirements is to have the ability to tilt the microscope at an angle the SAS-3 will be a perfect fit for your laboratory. Lift Articulating Arm offers the greatest amount of reach along with ease to vertical positioning. The total arm length gives the user a total of 31” from the center of the vertical pole to the center of the focus block. Approximately 15 inches vertical travel, plus/minus 7.5 inches from horizontal, is controlled via an adjustable gas spring counter balance providing a “safe” lift and descent. The counter balance also allows “free floating” of objects from 0- 20 lbs. An ambidextrous vertical position lock is provided. The arm accepts the industry standard 5/8″ “Bonder” pin focus blocks, equipped with a OS-LAEA (Lift Arm End Adapter. The SAS-3 provides complete flexibility for smooth left to right horizontal and vertical movement and adjustment. The SAS-3 flexibility, allows it to glide over the work surface with none of the binding inherent in other boom stands. It is now possible to scan a large flat area at an angle, such as a printed circuit board, by simply guiding the microscope with your hands. This is best made heavy Duty Boom stand from U.S.A. There is zero friction motion from precision machined into cast housings along with a sturdy solid 80 lbs. metal 13 inch x 13 inch x 1.5 inch base with heavy duty rubber feet and ergonomic handles provides an excellent solution for heavy duty and industrial applications requiring smooth friction free travel.
