What It Does

The EMZ-13 + MA502 + P Stand Configuration System combines the capable EMZ-13 zoom stereo microscope with MA502 10× super widefield eyepieces to deliver bright, high-contrast stereoscopic imaging across a broad zoom range. Featuring precision Greenough optics and a generous working distance, the EMZ-13 provides excellent image flatness, clarity, and depth perception—making it ideal for detailed inspection, assembly, quality control, and general laboratory tasks in industrial, educational, and research environments. Configured with the P stand, this system offers stable vertical support with smooth focusing control and dependable sample positioning for consistent, repeatable observations. EMZ-13: Microscope Head
The EMZ-13 body offers an extended zoom ratio of 7:1, the highest in its series. Modularity of design enables the user to select magnification from 3x – 420x. The large zoom range means the user can expect superb optical performance and maneuverability. The paired objectives are parfocalled and parcentered that guarantees observation of exceptionally high-resolution images throughout a wide magnification range. The EMZ-13 series offer working distances from 34mm – 252mm. The EMZ-13 employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-13 is suitable for precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any work/lab application.

MA502: Eyepieces
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0

P: Stand
The P stand in Meiji Techno America’s basic pole stand with “F” focusing holder mounted on a plain base. It accepts our EMZ, EMT and EMF stereo microscope bodies. Supplied with a 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate with a locking pin and two stainless steel stage clips and a 20mm diameter vertical pole. The P stands compact design allows users to maximize their work area, so that operation in limited space becomes possible. Since there is no built-in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.

Superb Optics:
Multi-coated optical components, free form chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. The Greenough optical design provides superior erect, unreversed, stereoscopic images, rich in contrast, brightness and correct in their original color. Ergonomic Design:
All EMZ Series zoom stereo microscope bodies feature a compact lightweight design. Every stereo body features adjustment diopter tubes and interpupillary distance adjustment. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment. A choice of Zoom, Turret or Fixed magnification bodies with various working distances, optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces, multiple adjustable stands, versatile illumination systems, and auxiliary components allow the end user to design a system to fulfill their specific requirements.
