EMZ-13TRH: Trinocular Microscope Head + MA522: Eyepieces + F: Focus Block + BD-M-LED: Stand + MA151/35/03: Adapter + HD1000-LITE-M: Camera and Monitor (Complete System)
EMZ-13TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-13TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-13TRH trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications and offers an extended zoom ratio of 7:1, the highest in its series. Its modular design enables the user to select a magnification from 3x – 420x. Because it has a large zoom range, the user can expect superb optical performance and maneuverability. The paired objectives are parfocalled and parcentered which guarantee observation of high resolution images throughout a wide magnification range. The EMZ-13TRH series offer working distances from 34mm – 252mm. The EMZ-13TRH employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-13TRH is suitable for precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any work/lab application.
MA552: Eyepieces
Included is the MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only).
F: Focus Holder
The F holder is a focusing holder with a rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
BD-M-LED: Stands
BD-M-LED is a wide surface LED Brightfield/Darkfield stand for applications that require transmitted oblique illumination or angle light. This is a popular stand for protein crystallography, equine or bovine embryo transfer. This specialized stand contains a reflection mirror in the base that is rotatable which allows the LED illumination to hit the sample at oblique angles. This stand is a simple and popular method for rendering unstained and transparent specimens, small aquatic organisms, oocytes, and specimens that have refractive index ranging from 1.4-1.2 which has a negligible difference from their surrounding aqueous medium. This type of specimens are ideal candidates for observation with darkfield illumination techniques. The mirror can also slide forward and back to provide maximum light angle control. There is a locking ring once a desired angle is reached.
MA151/35/03: Video CCD “C” Mount
The MA151/35/03 0.3X lens (21mm reticle mount) video C” mount is used to connect the CCD Camera to the trinocular tube of the EM Series stereo microscope. The smaller the CCD imager the greater the video magnification. Choosing the correct C” mount for your application allows you to control the magnification on the video monitor. Meiji Techno offers the following “C” mounts for the EM Series Microscopes.
HD1000-LITE-M: Camera and Monitor
The HD1500MET-M is our full featured 6 MP camera with a 1/3” CMOS chip. A 0.3X C” mount adapter (MA151/35/03) is needed to attach to any standard Meiji Techno America Trinocular Microscope. The HD1500MET-M features a full HD (1080×1920) resolution, which provides high fidelity images with a refresh rate of 60fps- frames per second when connected via HDMI, so there is absolutely no lag in the live video feed when moving your specimen or part. Included with the 11.8” High-Definition display is a mounting kit that allows the display to be mounted directly in front of the HD1500MET-M. The 11.8” High-Definition display is used with the provided USB 2.0 mouse; with this the user can access menus that provide all the features of the camera such as exposure, white balance, color control (red or blue), gamma, brightness, sharpness, saturation, denoise, color temperature. In addition, it allows the user to save images and videos directly on the full SD card due to the onboard operating system. You can flip the image horizontally, vertically, do a split screen where-in one side of the monitor is a live image and the other half is the captured image. You can also digitally increase/decrease the zoom if needed if your stereo system has reached its magnification potential, this will give you the added digital magnification needed. You can also superimpose a crossline reticle directly on your live image, first click gives you a red line second click gives you a green line, and the third click omits the crossline. The live video and still shots can be saved directly on the removable full SD card for subsequent image capture. All this is achieved without the need for a PC. You may also connect directly to any monitor or TV with a HDMI port for a wider view if necessary. All USB 2.0, HDMI, SD card, power supply is all supplied. You can also attach a wireless mouse if you choose to go wireless with a third-party mouse.

The EM Series stereoscopes can be mounted on the BD-M-LED stand for transmitted Brightfield / Darkfield LED illumination. This features a rotatable sliding mirror which also slides back and forth to direct the light at an appropriate angle. Ideal for many biological applications but works even for gemology, due to the ability to adjust the angle of illumination with the rotatable sliding mirror. With 20 mm post (Requires F focus block or any 20mm focus block.) Base Dimensions: 330mm (13″) wide by 280mm (11″) deep by 85mm (3.37″) high.
