EMZ-13TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-13TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-13TRH trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications and offers an extended zoom ratio of 7:1, the highest in its series. Its modular design enables the user to select a magnification from 3x – 420x. Because it has a large zoom range, the user can expect superb optical performance and maneuverability. The paired objectives are parfocalled and parcentered which guarantee observation of high resolution images throughout a wide magnification range. The EMZ-13TRH series offer working distances from 34mm – 252mm. The EMZ-13TRH employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-13TRH is suitable for precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any work/lab application.
MA522: Eyepieces
Included is the MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only).
KBL: Stand
The KBL Stand is a Meiji Techno America’s most popular ergonomic 380mm x 330mm x 20mm flat laminate board stand which requires external illumination when an extended work surface is needed. This ergonomic stand can accommodate large circuit boards or animal surgery which requires a wide surface area. Equipped with an integrated F Coarse Focus Block/Holder which is a focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth and precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Its coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies. The KBL Stand is a great complement to our Stereo microscopes due to the focus block’s ability to be easily raised vertically to accommodate different sample heights or special applications. A 5” (100mm) extension pillar for the threaded vertical post is also available if needed to accommodate taller specimens (MA551).
