What It Does

The EMZ-5 + MA502 + PK Stand Configuration System is a precision stereo microscope setup designed for professional inspection, research, and general laboratory applications requiring clear, detailed stereoscopic imaging. At its core is the EMZ-5 zoom stereo microscope body, which features a wide 6.5:1 zoom ratio (0.7×–4.5×) and Greenough optical design to deliver sharp, high-contrast images with excellent flatness and detail throughout the field of view. When paired with the included MA502 Super Widefield 10× eyepieces, this system offers a total magnification range of 7×–45×, making it well-suited for observing small components, biological specimens, and precision parts in industrial and educational settings. The system is mounted on the PK ergonomic pole stand, Meiji Techno’s extended working-distance stand that combines stability with flexibility for a variety of sample sizes. This stand includes an integral “F” focusing holder that makes vertical adjustments smooth and precise, along with a 94.5 mm reversible black-and-white stage plate and two stainless steel clips to secure specimens during observation. Because the PK stand requires an external illumination source, users can choose appropriate LED ring lights, fiber-optic systems, or other light options to customize illumination for their specific application. The compact, ergonomic base helps maximize workspace while providing dependable support for detailed microscopy work.

EMZ-5: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5 body delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high-resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5 employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5 offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application.

MA502: Eyepieces
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0

PK: Stand
An extended working distance ergonomic pole stand with 250mm pole and “F” focusing holder mounted on an ergo base. Supplied with one 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate and two stage clips. The PK can be accessorized with an optional 20-watt halogen incident illuminator with standalone power supply.

Superb Optics:
Multi-coated optical components, free form chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. The Greenough optical design provides superior erect, unreversed, stereoscopic images, rich in contrast, brightness and correct in their original color. Excellent depth of field and a flat image rendition are also characteristic of the EMT Series product line.

Ergonomic Design:
All EMT Series turret stereo microscope bodies feature a compact lightweight design. Every stereo body features adjustment diopter tubes and interpupillary distance adjustment. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment. A choice of Zoom, Turret or Fixed magnification bodies with various working distances, optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces, multiple adjustable stands, versatile illumination systems, and auxiliary components allow the end user to design a system to fulfill their specific requirements.
