EMZ-5H: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5H is a New and Improved High Eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also uses a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X) Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-5H body delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high-resolution images all throughout the zoom range. This EMZ-5H model has a ½” (12.7mm) more field of view than the standard EMZ-5 model ideal for eyeglass users but also compatible for all. The EMZ-5H employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5H offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. MA522: Eyepieces
MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece is included, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only)
F: Focus Block
Focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
SAS-1: Stand
The SAS-1 Articulating Heavy Duty Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with vertical pillar, articulating arm and a 20mm drop down mounting post accepts industry standard focus blocks with a 20mm mounting hole. The SAS-1 is equipped with a 406.4mm (16”) vertical pole. The SAS-1 offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible amount stability for EM stereo system up to 30 lbs. There is no loss of stability even at its furthest travel. The SAS-1 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely and smoothly left to right or can be securely locked into position with our spring-loaded handle knobs. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stabilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The SAS-1 Articulating Heavy Duty Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for large Solar panels to large semiconductor and electrical components. The SAS-1 is supported by an 80.00 lbs. base. This boom stand is affordable; low cost with high quality safety features makes this boom stand unmatched value in its class. This stand has ample height and long reach to work on an inspect small to large parts under the microscope. EMZ-5H: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5H High Eyepoint Binocular Stereo Zoom Body is a precision-engineered microscope component designed to deliver exceptionally clear, high-contrast imaging with a versatile 6.5:1 zoom range (0.7×–4.5×) and a comfortable 93 mm working distance, ideal for detailed inspection in semiconductor, medical device, and routine lab applications. Featuring Greenough optics for improved image flatness and brightness, this high eyepoint model offers extended eye relief (~20.9 mm) that provides extra clearance for eyeglass wearers while maintaining sharp resolution throughout the entire zoom range. Its sturdy cast aluminum construction with a 360° rotatable binocular head, interpupillary and dioptric adjustments ensures ergonomic use and adaptability, while the requirement for paired MA522 10× high eyepoint eyepieces allows customization for specific magnification needs.

SAS-1: Wide Stand
The SAS-1 Articulating heavy duty industrial-type boom stand comes with a 20mm diameter drop down mounting post to perfectly complement our EMZ (Zoom), EMT (Turret), EMF (Fixed) Series Stereo Microscope with the proper focus block. Lift Articulating Arm offers the greatest amount of reach along with ease to vertical positioning. The total arm length gives the user a total of 31” from the center of the vertical pole to the center of the focus block. Approximately 15 inches vertical travel, plus/minus 7.5 inches from horizontal, is controlled via an adjustable gas spring counter balance providing a “safe” lift and descent. The counter balance also allows “free floating” of objects from 0- 20 lbs. An ambidextrous vertical position lock is provided. The arm also accepts the industry standard 5/8″ “Bonder” pin focus blocks, when an optional OS-LAEA is ordered. The SAS-1 provides complete flexibility for smooth left to right horizontal and vertical movement and adjustment. The SAS-1 flexibility, allows it to glide over the work surface with none of the binding inherent in other boom stands. It is now possible to scan a large flat area, such as a printed circuit board, by simply guiding the microscope with your hands. This is best made heavy Duty Boom stand from U.S.A. There is zero friction motion from precision machined into cast housings along with a sturdy solid 80 lbs. metal 13 inch x 13 inch x 1.5 inch base with heavy duty rubber feet and ergonomic handles provides an excellent solution for heavy duty and industrial applications requiring smooth friction free travel. The thread on the vertical column is 1/2-13 x 2 and the vertical column is 1.5″ +0,-.02.
