EMZ-5H: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5H is a New and Improved High Eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also uses a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X) Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-5H body delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high-resolution images all throughout the zoom range. This EMZ-5H model has a ½” (12.7mm) more field of view than the standard EMZ-5 model ideal for eyeglass users but also compatible for all. The EMZ-5H employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5H offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. MA522: Eyepieces
MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece is included, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only)
FS: Focus Block
Tilting focus holder with integral, adjustable illuminator port. Rack and pinion mount allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. s possible. Since there is no built-in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.
S-4600: Stand
The S-4600 Table Clamp Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with a sturdy solid metal clamp to fit any industrial lab bench. Equipped with a pillar, crossarm and a 20mm drop down mounting post accepts F, FX or FC holders, (must be ordered separately) or focus blocks with a 20mm mounting hole which are commonly available from microscope manufacturers. Equipped with a 610mm (24.00”) vertical pole and a 530mm (20.86”) horizontal pole. The S-4600 table clamp boom stand offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible vertical post length in its series. The S-4600 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely left to right or can be securely locked into position with our T handle knobs. Extra length vertical posts are available in other models. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stablilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The S-4600 Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for preparing mice, insects and other model organisms or semiconductor and electrical components. The S-4600 boom stand is designed for the zoom (EMZ Series), turret (EMT Series) and fixed (EMF Series) stereo bodies. This boom stand is an affordable; low cost with high quality safety features makes this boom stand unmatched value in its class. EMZ-5H: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5H High Eyepoint Binocular Stereo Zoom Body is a precision-engineered microscope component designed to deliver exceptionally clear, high-contrast imaging with a versatile 6.5:1 zoom range (0.7×–4.5×) and a comfortable 93 mm working distance, ideal for detailed inspection in semiconductor, medical device, and routine lab applications. Featuring Greenough optics for improved image flatness and brightness, this high eyepoint model offers extended eye relief (~20.9 mm) that provides extra clearance for eyeglass wearers while maintaining sharp resolution throughout the entire zoom range. Its sturdy cast aluminum construction with a 360° rotatable binocular head, interpupillary and dioptric adjustments ensures ergonomic use and adaptability, while the requirement for paired MA522 10× high eyepoint eyepieces allows customization for specific magnification needs.

This 10X Super Widefield Eyepiece is designed to fit our Meiji Techno models High Eyepoint models (EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H, EMZ-13H, and EMZ-13TRH)
FS: Block
FS Coarse Focus Block/Holder is a tilting focus holder with 15.8mm (5/8″ bonder pin) diameter. Rack and pinion mount allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment.
Uses 15.8mm (5/8″) diameter, 34.5mm long mounting pin. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
Focusing holders hold the microscope body and contain the mechanism that raises or lowers the body to focus on the specimen. Complete stands include their own focusing holders. But for other kinds of tasks, however, it may be necessary to mount the microscope body on a boom arm stand or directly onto a machine or some other surface. The focusing holders below offer a range of options for such applications.
FOCUS BLOCKS (84.5mm Inner diameter/ 0.2mm revolution fine focus/ fits 5/8″ female bonder pin adapter)

S-4600: Boom Stand
The S-4600 Table Clamp Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with a sturdy solid metal clamp to fit any industrial lab bench. Equipped with a pillar, crossarm and a 58 inches bonder pin holder accepts FS, FSC holders. Equipped with a 400mm (15.74in”) vertical pole and a 535mm (21.06”) horizontal pole. The S-4600 table clamp boom stand offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible vertical post length in its series. The S-4600 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely left to right or can be securely locked into position with our T handle knobs. Extra length vertical posts are available in other models.
