What It Does

A stereo zoom trinocular microscope is used for viewing and analyzing relatively large, three-dimensional specimens at low to medium magnification, making it ideal for tasks that require depth perception and manipulation. Commonly used in fields like electronics repair, biology, and quality control, it allows users to examine surfaces, textures, and structures such as circuit boards, insects, plants, or small mechanical parts. The “zoom” feature provides a continuous range of magnification without changing lenses, while the “trinocular” design includes a third port for attaching a camera, enabling users to capture images or video for documentation, research, or teaching.

EMZ-5TR: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TR trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications. When the beamsplitter is engaged, 100% of the light from the left optical path is directed to the phototube. The image can still be viewed through the right eye tube. The EMZ-5TR employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. The EMZ-5TR offers high resolution erect unreversed stereoscopic image. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. Photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.

BD-LED: Stand 
BD-LED stand Pole stand with integrated focusing holder. Transmitted-reflection lens/mirror system provides transmitted variable intensity LED illumination, independently. Fully rotatable mirror in base provides transmitted brightfield or pseudo-darkfield illumination. Supplied with 94.5mm diameter clear glass stage plate and two stage clips. For use with zoom stereo bodies. Automatic voltage (100v to 240v) sensing power supply. Ergonomic Design:
