What It Does

The Meiji Techno EMZ-5TR Microscope Configuration is a high-performance stereo zoom microscope system built for detailed inspection, electronics repair, laboratory use, and industrial quality assurance. With a 7X–45X magnification range and true 3D imaging, it delivers sharp, accurate views of small parts while providing enough working distance for precision tasks like soldering, circuit board inspection, and fine assembly work. The configuration also features ESD-safe LED lighting for bright, even illumination and an HD camera system that enables live video display and image capture for documentation, training, and production applications.

EMZ-5TR: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TR trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications. When the beamsplitter is engaged, 100% of the light from the left optical path is directed to the phototube. The image can still be viewed through the right eye tube. The EMZ-5TR employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. The EMZ-5TR offers high resolution erect unreversed stereoscopic image. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. Photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

P: Pole Stand
The P stand in Meiji Techno America’s basic pole stand with “F” focusing holder mounted on a plain base. It accepts our EMZ, EMT and EMF stereo microscope bodies. It is supplied with a 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate with a locking pin, two stainless steel stage clips and a 20mm diameter vertical pole. The P stand’s compact design allows users to maximize their work area, so that operation in limited space becomes possible. Since there is no built-in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.

MA961C/40: Cool White Light
MA961C/40 delivers powerful, microscope quality cool white light from the precision aligned LED array. Our CAD designed ring light system contains 40 top quality high-brightness white LEDs housed in a machined aluminum and molded plastic enclosure. Our advanced LED controller utilizes a proprietary constant current design to provide maximum light output with long life and no color shift when dimming. This key feature is integrated into the compact ring light housing.

MA151/35/03: Video CCD “C” Mount
The MA151/35/03 0.3X lens (21mm reticle mount) video C” mount is used to connect the CCD Camera to the trinocular tube of the EM Series stereo microscope. The smaller the CCD imager the greater the video magnification. Choosing the correct C” mount for your application allows you to control the magnification on the video monitor. Meiji Techno offers the following “C” mounts for the EM Series Microscopes.

HD1000-LITE-M: Camera and Monitor
The HD1500MET-M is our full featured 6 MP camera with a 1/3” CMOS chip.  A 0.3X C” mount adapter (MA151/35/03) is needed to attach to any standard Meiji Techno America Trinocular Microscope. The HD1500MET-M features a full HD (1080×1920) resolution, which provides high fidelity images with a refresh rate of 60fps- frames per second when connected via HDMI, so there is absolutely no lag in the live video feed when moving your specimen or part. Included with the 11.8” High-Definition display is a mounting kit that allows the display to be mounted directly in front of the HD1500MET-M. The 11.8” High-Definition display is used with the provided USB 2.0 mouse; with this the user can access menus that provide all the features of the camera such as exposure, white balance, color control (red or blue), gamma, brightness, sharpness, saturation, denoise, color temperature. In addition, it allows the user to save images and videos directly on the full SD card due to the onboard operating system. You can flip the image horizontally, vertically, do a split screen where-in one side of the monitor is a live image and the other half is the captured image. You can also digitally increase/decrease the zoom if needed if your stereo system has reached its magnification potential, this will give you the added digital magnification needed. You can also superimpose a crossline reticle directly on your live image, first click gives you a red line second click gives you a green line, and the third click omits the crossline. The live video and still shots can be saved directly on the removable full SD card for subsequent image capture. All this is achieved without the need for a PC. You may also connect directly to any monitor or TV with a HDMI port for a wider view if necessary.  All USB 2.0, HDMI, SD card, power supply is all supplied. You can also attach a wireless mouse if you choose to go wireless with a third-party mouse.

Ergonomic Design:
