What It Does

The EMZ-5TR + MA502 + PK Stand Configuration System is a versatile trinocular stereo microscope setup designed for professional imaging and precision observation. At its core is the EMZ-5TR trinocular zoom head, offering a smooth 0.7x–4.5x zoom range (7x–45x total magnification) with high-contrast, erect stereo images and support for photomicrography and video capture. The included MA502 Super Widefield 10X eyepieces deliver a generous field of view and comfortable eye relief, making detailed examination easier and more efficient. Mounted on an ergonomic PK pole stand, this system provides a stable extended working distance with a 250 mm pole and “F” focusing holder on an ergonomic base, along with a reversible black/white stage plate and stage clips for secure specimen positioning. The modular design allows customization with various auxiliary lenses, stands, and illumination options to adapt to diverse applications across industrial, educational, and laboratory environments, giving users flexibility to tailor the microscope to their specific needs.

EMZ-5TR: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TR trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications. When the beamsplitter is engaged, 100% of the light from the left optical path is directed to the phototube. The image can still be viewed through the right eyetube. The EMZ-5TR employs greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. The EMZ-5TR offers high resolution erect unreversed stereoscopic image. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. Photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Is included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

PK: Stand 
The PK an extended working distance ergonomic pole stand, with 250mm pole and “F” focusing holder mounted on a ergo base. Supplied with one 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate and two stage clips. The PK can be accessorized with an optional 20-watt halogen incident illuminator with stand-alone power supply.

The EMZ-5TR body offers detent click-stops and delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5TR employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5TR offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection.

Multi-coated optical components, free form chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. Ergonomic Design:
All EMT Series turret stereo microscope bodies feature a compact lightweight design. Every stereo body features adjustment diopter tubes and interpupillary distance adjustment. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment. A choice of Zoom, Turret or Fixed magnification bodies with various working distances, optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces, multiple adjustable stands, versatile illumination systems, and auxiliary components allow the end user to design a system to fulfill their specific requirements.
