What It Does

The Meiji EMZ-5TRD + MA502 + F + BAS-2 Stand Configuration System is a high-performance stereo microscope package engineered for demanding inspection, research, and industrial applications. At its core is the EMZ-5TRD trinocular zoom head, featuring detent click-stops and a 6.5:1 zoom ratio that produces bright, high-contrast images throughout a 7×–45× magnification range with excellent flatness and clarity. This flexible optical design, based on Greenough principles, makes the microscope ideal for detailed work in semiconductor inspection, medical device evaluation, quality control, and other precision-oriented tasks where accurate visualization is essential. Included in this system are the MA502 Super Widefield 10× eyepieces for a broad and comfortable viewing experience and an F focusing holder that provides smooth, precise focusing control over its travel range. The BAS-2 heavy-duty boom stand adds exceptional ergonomic flexibility and reach with a sturdy base, extended vertical and horizontal arms, and secure locking mechanisms—allowing users to position the microscope head easily over larger or irregular specimens while maintaining a stable work environment. EMZ-5TR

The EMZ-5TRD body offers detent click-stops and delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5TRD employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5TRD offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection.
