What It Does

People use stereo zoom trinocular microscopes (like the Meiji EMZ-5TRD system) because they let you see objects in 3D, work on them comfortably, zoom in smoothly, and record what you’re seeing at the same time. The stereo design gives depth perception and space to use tools (great for electronics, jewelry, or lab work), the zoom lets you adjust magnification without losing your place, and the trinocular port adds a third path for a camera so you can capture images or video without interrupting your view—making them especially useful for inspection, documentation, and teaching.

EMZ-5TRD: Trinocular Microscope Head + MA502: Eyepieces + F: Focus Block + SAS-1: Stand

EMZ-5TRD: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TRD trinocular zoom body has detent click-stops and delivers sharp and high-contrast images. It has an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high-resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5TRD employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5TRD offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

F: Focus Block 
The F holder is a focusing holder with a rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.

SAS-1: Stand 
Our heavy-duty SAS-1 can tilt and swivel microscope mount allows the scope to swivel 360 degrees around a vertical axis and to tilt from vertical to horizontal positions. In spite of its flexibility, this heavy-duty mount can still securely lock the microscope in any orientation, even when loaded down with a large camera system. This mount also features a friction adjustment on the tilting motion to prevent the unexpected “flip-over” of the microscope upon release of the tilting lock. The sturdy solid metal 13-inch x 13-inch x 1.5-inch base (approx. 60 lbs.) with rubber feet provides excellent stability. Focusing holders for SAS-1 can be found on the accessories page.

Ergonomic Design:

Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment.
