What It Does

People use stereo zoom trinocular microscopes (like the Meiji EMZ-5TRD system) because they let you see objects in 3D, work on them comfortably, zoom in smoothly, and record what you’re seeing at the same time. The EMZ-5TRD + MA502 + FS + FA-3 Stand Configuration System combines precision optical performance with flexible, industrial-grade support to meet demanding inspection and measurement needs. At its core, the EMZ-5TRD Trinocular head features a 0.7x–4.5x zoom (7×–45× with 10× eyepieces) with detent click-stops and Greenough optics for bright, high-contrast images with excellent flatness and detail across the entire field of view. Included MA502 super widefield 10× eyepieces enhance the viewing experience with a large 23.0 mm field of view and generous eye relief, making prolonged observation comfortable and productive. Supporting the optical assembly is the FS coarse focus block with smooth rack-and-pinion control for precise focusing over 55 mm of travel, and the rugged FA-3 triple-joint articulated arm stand, offering 180° tilt and 360° rotation for versatile positioning of larger or awkward specimens. EMZ-5TRD: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TRD trinocular zoom body has detent click-stops and delivers sharp and high-contrast images. It has an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high-resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5TRD employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5TRD offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

FS: Focus Block 
The FS Coarse Focus Block/Holder is a tilting focus holder with an integral adjustable illuminator port. It has a rack and pinion mount that allows smooth and precise focusing over 55mm of travel. The coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment.

FA-3: Stand 
The Meiji Techno FA-3 Triple Joint Articulating Table Clamp Boom stand is an industrial type articulating arm stand with 16mm diameter mounting pin for ready for a FS & FSC focus holder that is inclinable 180° and rotated 360° (optional) or a OS-SP20MM – 20mm drop down post (optional) for F focus block. Great for examining industrial parts and for inspection of larger or awkward shaped item, this articulating arm stand provides ultimate versatility without sacrificing stability. This articulated stand weighs about 30 lbs. and comes with a 15.25”, 387.35mm High Stainless Steel Pillar and 37″, 939mm Reaching-out length.

Ergonomic Design:

Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment.
