The Meiji EMZ-5TRD + MA502 + P Stand Configuration System is a professional-grade stereo microscope package engineered for detailed visual inspection and precision work in industrial, laboratory, and educational settings. At its core is the EMZ-5TRD trinocular zoom head, which features detent click-stops and a 6.5:1 zoom ratio that delivers sharp, high-contrast images across a versatile 7×–45× magnification range, with excellent flatness and clarity thanks to its advanced Greenough optical design. This broad zoom range and optical performance make it well-suited for tasks like semiconductor inspection, quality control, and medical device evaluation where precise visualization is crucial. Paired with MA502 Super Widefield 10× eyepieces, this configuration provides a comfortable, expansive field of view for extended use. The included P basic pole stand features a compact base with a reversible black/white stage plate and stainless-steel clips for secure specimen placement, while its “F” focusing holder supports smooth coarse focusing and helps maximize available workspace in tight environments. Because this setup does not include built-in illumination, users have the flexibility to add a lighting solution—such as an LED ring light or fiber optic illuminator—those best fits their specific application needs.

EMZ-5TRD: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TRD body offers detent click-stops and delivers sharp, high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that provides exceptionally high resolution images all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-5TRD employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. With the large zoom range, the EMZ-5TRD offers high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to it’s compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application.

MA502: Eyepieces
Is Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0

P: Pole Stand
The P stand in Meiji Techno America’s basic pole stand with “F” focusing holder mounted on a plain base. It accepts our EMZ, EMT and EMF stereo microscope bodies. Supplied with a 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate with a locking pin and two stainless steel stage clips and a 20mm diameter vertical pole. The P stands compact design allows users to maximize their work area, so that operation in limited space becomes possible. Since there is no built in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.
