EMZ-5TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-5TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-5TRH trinocular zoom body is used for photography and video applications. When the beamsplitter is engaged, 100% of the light from the left optical path is directed to the phototube. The image can still be viewed through the right eye tube. The EMZ-5TRH employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast.
It offers high resolution erect unreversed stereoscopic images. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. Photomicrography is made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters. Also suitable for eyeglass users.
MA522: Eyepiece
Included is the MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only).
P: Stand
The P stand in Meiji Techno America’s basic pole stand with “F” focusing holder mounted on a plain base. It accepts our EMZ, EMT and EMF stereo microscope bodies. It is supplied with a 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate with a locking pin, two stainless steel stage clips and a 20mm diameter vertical pole. The P stand’s compact design allows users to maximize their work area, so that operation in limited space becomes possible. Since there is no built in illumination, it allows the end-user to select from a variety of incident light options from an LED ring light to a dual arm fiber optic system.
MA961C/80/ESD: Cool LED Light
The MA961C/80/ESD is designed with an inner and outer quadrant cool white LED ring populated by 80 high quality, extremely bright, which can be controlled in 8 segmented white LEDs. The inner and outer rings of LED’s are set at different angles to create uniform illumination across a wide range of working distances. The MA961C/80/ESD it has 4500K illumination. Each ring and LED segment can be independently controlled using advanced eight segment LED controller. Dual dimming controls provide maximum color stability at all dimming levels. CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum alloy allowing optimal thermal management and performance in a rugged attractive package. The MA961C/80/ESD comes standard with a universal power source for worldwide operation.

This 10X Super Widefield Eyepiece is designed to fit our Meiji Techno models High Eyepoint models (EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H, EMZ-13H, and EMZ-13TRH)

Focusing Holder: F Focus Holder Block included with 84.2 mm diameter opening which accepts 84 mm stereo body. Rack and pinion mount allows smooth precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment ( F holder)
Illumination Port: No illumination, requires an external illuminator for lighting
MA961C/80/ESD: Illuminator
The MA961/80 line features 80 powerful and precision aligned LEDs for shadow free illumination across a wide range of working distances. Dual dimmers and up to 8 separately controllable banks provide excellent control over the illumination. The proprietary controller is designed for durability and to provide a DC supply that eliminates flicker or strobing effects. An auto voltage sensing 100 – 240 VAC power supply is included.
The M961/80/ESD Safe models are carefully constructed by starting with an alluminum alloy that is precision machined. These parts are then subjected to a multi-step proprietary coating process that both protects the alloy and preserves surface eletrical conductivity.
