What It Does

A stereo trinocular microscope with top light is designed for examining solid, opaque objects at low magnification with a clear three-dimensional view, allowing users to see surface details and depth more easily. Its stereo optics create the 3D effect, the trinocular port makes it possible to attach a camera for capturing images or video, and the top lighting shines down onto the specimen, making it especially useful for tasks like inspecting electronics, studying insects or plants, analyzing evidence in forensics, checking manufactured parts, or working on small detailed items like jewelry.

EMZ-8TR: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TR zoom body offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TR is designed for high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-8TR employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TR offers erect unreversed stereoscopic images which contribute in making high resolution observations in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device, and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. It has photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

F: Focus Block 
The F holder is a focusing holder with a rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.

BAS-2: Stand 
The BAS-2 Heavy Duty Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with pillar, crossarm and a 20mm drop down mounting post accepts industry standard focus blocks with a 20mm mounting hole. The BAS-2 is equipped with a 635mm (25”) vertical pole and a 457.2mm (18”) horizontal pole. The BAS-2 offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible amount stability for EM stereo system up to 30 lbs. There is no loss of stability even at its furthest travel. The BAS-2 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely and smoothly left to right or can be securely locked into position with our spring-loaded handle knobs. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stabilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The BAS-2 Heavy Duty Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for large Solar panels to large semiconductor and electrical components. The BAS-2 is supported by a 80.00 lbs. base. This boom stand is affordable; low cost with high quality safety features makes this boom stand unmatched value in its class. This stand has ample height and long reach to work on an inspect small to large parts under the microscope. Ergonomic flexibility, chemical resistant paint finish and corrosion resistant stainless-steel columns make this boom stand an excellent choice in labs and production facilities.

   • BAS-2 is a heavy duty dual ball bearing arm industrial-type boom stand comes with a 32mm diameter drop down mounting post to perfectly complement our EMZ (Zoom), EMT (Turret), EMF (Fixed) Series Stereo Microscope with the proper focus block
• BAS-2 uses linear ball bearings to support the horizontal arm, allowing it to glide over the work surface with none of the binding inherent in other boom stands

Ergonomic Design:
