EMZ-8TR: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TR zoom body offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TR is designed for high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. The EMZ-8TR employs Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result, images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TR offers erect unreversed stereoscopic images which contribute in making high resolution observations in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device, and routine inspection. In addition to its compact design and versatility, a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. It has photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.
MA502: Eyepieces
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.
FS: Focus Block
The FS Coarse Focus Block/Holder is a tilting focus holder with an integral adjustable illuminator port. It has a rack and pinion mount that allows smooth and precise focusing over 55mm of travel. The coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment.
S-4300: Stand
The S-4300 Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with a Bonder Mount Socket at the end of the horizontal arm accepts the industry standard 5/8″diameter microscope mounting dowel. The bonder mount socket accepts FS and FSC holders which can be inclined at 180 ° and rotated 360°, 16mm diameter mounting pin. (Must be ordered separately) Equipped with a pillar, crossarm and 400mm (15.74”) vertical pole and a 530mm (20.86”) horizontal pole. The S-4300 offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible amount of work room. The S-4300 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks. The horizontal arm can be moved freely left to right or can be securely locked into position with our T handle knobs. Extra length vertical posts are available in other models. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stabilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The S-4300 Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for preparing mice, insects and other model organisms or semiconductor and electrical components.
The S-4300 is equipped by a 35 lbs. base. The S-4300 boom stand is designed for the zoom (EMZ Series), turret (EMT Series) and fixed (EMF Series) stereo bodies. FS: Focus Block

FS Coarse Focus Block/Holder is a tilting focus holder with 15.8mm (5/8″ bonder pin) diameter. Rack and pinion mount allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment.
Uses 15.8mm (5/8″) diameter, 34.5mm long mounting pin. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
Focusing holders hold the microscope body and contain the mechanism that raises or lowers the body to focus on the specimen. Complete stands include their own focusing holders. But for other kinds of tasks, however, it may be necessary to mount the microscope body on a boom arm stand or directly onto a machine or some other surface. The focusing holders below offer a range of options for such applications.
FS: Inclinable coarse focusing slide block with 5/8″ diameter mounting bonder pin to hold the stereo body on machines or for special applications (For use with S-4300, S-4400, S-1300, S-2300, BAS-3, SAS-3, SAS-4, and SAS-7 stands)
