What It Does

Stereo zoom trinocular microscopes with high‑eyepoint eyepieces are designed for applications requiring highly detailed, three-dimensional observation of objects while maintaining a comfortable working distance and the ability to manipulate items under the lens. They are widely used in electronics inspection and repair, allowing precise examination of circuit boards, solder joints, and small components, as well as in precision assembly and manufacturing, where accurate alignment and placement of tiny parts are critical. These microscopes are also ideal for quality control, metrology, and defect analysis, enabling operators to detect subtle surface features and irregularities. The trinocular design allows simultaneous camera attachment for documentation or instructional purposes without interrupting the live view, while the high-eyepoint eyepieces provide comfortable viewing for users with glasses and reduce eye strain during extended use. EMZ-8TRH: Trinocular Microscope Head + MA522: Eyepieces + BD-LED: Stand

EMZ-8TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-8TRH Trinocular High Eyepoint with 0.7x-4.5x zoom ratio offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TRH is designed for high-contrast images and has an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. It has Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast which results in brighter images at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TRH offers erect unreversed stereoscopic images providing high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection.

BD-LED stand Pole stand with integrated focusing holder. Transmitted-reflection lens/mirror system provides transmitted variable intensity LED illumination, independently. Fully rotatable mirror in base provides transmitted brightfield or pseudo-darkfield illumination. Supplied with 94.5mm diameter clear glass stage plate and two stage clips. For use with zoom stereo bodies. Automatic voltage (100v to 240v) sensing power supply. BD-LED stand is a popular stand for embryo transfer for equine or bovine or protein crystallography nor translucent specimens. When transmitted oblique illumination is required. The built in LED illumination gives the specimen no external stress due to having no heat directly on the sample being viewed. This base can be used with our popular EMZ-Zoom, EMT-Turret, EMF-Fixed stereo bodies. The side handle mirror rotation control can be easily manipulated in a ergonomic low profile position.

Ergonomic Design:

Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment.
