EMZ-8TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-8TRH Trinocular High Eyepoint with 0.7x-4.5x zoom ratio offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TRH is designed for high-contrast images and has an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. It has Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast which results in brighter images at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TRH offers erect unreversed stereoscopic images providing high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection.
MA522: Eyepieces
MA522 Super Widefield Eyepiece is included, high eye point 10X (paired) (With 25mm reticle mount) (Fits EMZ-5H, EMZ-5TRH, EMZ-8TRH, EMZ-10H models only)
F: Focus Block
Focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.
UL: Stand
The UL Stand is Meiji Techno America’s special universal-stand with pillar, crossarm and mounting post, and rotatable tray to hold optional fiber optic light source. The UL gives the user a large laminate work surface. It provides flexible horizontal and vertical movement for mid-sized specimens and large electronic components. It has a 20mm diameter short drop-down mounting post that accepts F, FX or FC holders (must be ordered separately). Base: 580mm x 500 x 38mm. UL is also a laminate board stand which requires external illumination and focus holder. The FL fiber optic illuminator series fit the footprint of the fiber optic tray perfectly. This UL ergonomic stand can accommodate an extended work surface for use with large circuit boards or animal surgery which requires a wide surface area. The UL stand is designed for the zoom (EMZ Series), turret (EMT Series) and fixed (EMF Series) stereo bodies. It is a great complement to our Stereo microscopes due to the focus block’s ability to be easily raised vertically to accommodate different sample heights or special applications.
FR-LED: Ring Illuminator
The FR-LED is our newest ring illuminator. It features the newest surface mount LED technology that is paired with our exclusive design criteria, to make the highest performance, longest operating, lowest cost LED ring illuminator sold today! Our ESD Safe FR-LED features instant-on performance, with zero flicker. It is fully dimmable, from 100-0% with an integrated switch on the shade. Our exclusive design also allows for all circuitry to be hidden inside the shade. Our exclusive heat management system ensures supreme light output, for many years to come. The special thermal transfer system quickly and efficiently cools the LED array, for the longest life span in the industry. The FR-LED features an auto switchable 100-240v power supply and boasts worldwide regulatory approvals.
