What It Does

Stereo zoom trinocular microscopes with high‑eyepoint eyepieces are designed for applications requiring highly detailed, three-dimensional observation of objects while maintaining a comfortable working distance and the ability to manipulate items under the lens. They are widely used in electronics inspection and repair, allowing precise examination of circuit boards, solder joints, and small components, as well as in precision assembly and manufacturing, where accurate alignment and placement of tiny parts are critical. These microscopes are also ideal for quality control, metrology, and defect analysis, enabling operators to detect subtle surface features and irregularities. The trinocular design allows simultaneous camera attachment for documentation or instructional purposes without interrupting the live view, while the high-eyepoint eyepieces provide comfortable viewing for users with glasses and reduce eye strain during extended use. EMZ-8TRH: Trinocular Microscope Head + MA522: Eyepieces + PKC: Stand

EMZ-8TRH: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TRH is a new and improved high eyepoint model with an eye relief of 20.9mm designed for microscopists and for people who wear glasses. It is specially designed to give the user more clearance between their eyes and the microscope. The high eyepoint models also use a newly designed eyepiece with a wider designed lens to compliment the high eyepoint models (MA522 10X, MA818 15X, MA819 20X). Optional rubber eye guards (MA906) are also available. The EMZ-8TRH Trinocular High Eyepoint with 0.7x-4.5x zoom ratio offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TRH is designed for high-contrast images and has an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. It has Greenough optics for improved image flatness and contrast which results in brighter images at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TRH offers erect unreversed stereoscopic images providing high resolution observation in precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection.

PKC: Stand 
The PKC Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic Wide Plain Pole stand which requires external illumination and is the perfect stand if you need a coarse and fine focus movement. This Ergonomic stand can accommodate up to three standard size petri dishes on the top surface. Equipped with an integral FC focusing holder with Coarse and Fine focus adjustment and an 84.5mm round diameter opening, mounted on a low profile ergonomic wide cast aluminum alloy stand. Supplied with one 94.5mm diameter reversible black and white stage plate (MA568) and two stainless steel stage clips (MA593). The PKC Stand is designed for the zoom (EMZ Series) and can also be used for our turret (EMT Series), fixed (EMF Series) stereo bodies. The PKC stand is a great complement to our Stereo microscopes due to the focus block’s ability to be easily raised vertically if needed for special applications. A 5” extension pillar for the threaded vertical post is also available if needed to accommodate taller specimens (MA551).

PKC Pole Stand with FC Focus Block/Holder

Superb Optics:
Multi-coated optical components, free form chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. The Greenough optical design provides superior erect, unreversed, stereoscopic images, rich in contrast, brightness and correct in their original color. Ergonomic Design:
All EMZ Series zoom stereo microscope bodies feature a compact lightweight design. Every stereo body features adjustment diopter tubes and interpupillary distance adjustment. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment. A choice of Zoom, Turret or Fixed magnification bodies with various working distances, optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces, multiple adjustable stands, versatile illumination systems, and auxiliary components allow the end user to design a system to fulfill their specific requirements.
