EMZ-8TRU: Microscope Head
The EMZ-8TRU zoom body offers direct light to all three viewing ports simultaneously. The EMZ-8TRU has a special inlet for a single arm fiber optic light guide which allows illumination to be paralleled to the optic path. Which are designed for observing objects that are normally difficult to see under oblique incident-light illumination. Such as holes or cracks, scratches on metal surfaces, IC chips and liquid crystal patterns. The EMZ-8TRU is designed for high-contrast images and an excellent zoom range of 6.5:1 that is parfocalled all throughout the zoom range. With Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast, resulting in brighter images at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-8TRU offers erect, unreversed stereoscopic images. It’s modular versatility complements a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any application. Photomicrography made easy with over 300 available digital, analog and SLR camera adapters.

MA502: Eyepieces 
Is included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0.

F: Focus Block 
Focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.

BAS-2: Stand 
The BAS-2 Heavy Duty Boom Stand is Meiji Techno America’s most popular Ergonomic boom stand with pillar, crossarm and a 20mm drop down mounting post accepts industry standard focus blocks with a 20mm mounting hole. The BAS-2 is equipped with a 635mm (25”) vertical pole and a 457.2mm (18”) horizontal pole. The BAS-2 offers minimal space requirement and greatest possible amount stability for EM stereo system up to 30 lbs. There is no loss of stability even at its furthest travel. The BAS-2 can swing out of the way easily, clearing the workstation for other tasks.

The horizontal arm can be moved freely and smoothly left to right or can be securely locked into position with our spring loaded handle knobs. The vertical column is used to compensate for taller specimen heights to accommodate the working distances of different microscope bodies. Anti-rotation is stabilized by a locking pin on the vertical post. The BAS-2 Heavy Duty Boom stand provides a comfortable amount of space for large Solar panels to large semiconductor and electrical components. The BAS-2 is supported by a 80.00 lbs. base.

This boom stand is an affordable; low cost with high quality safety features makes this boom stand unmatched value in its class. This stand has ample height and long reach to work on an inspect small to large parts under the microscope. Ergonomic flexibility, chemical resistant paint finish and corrosion resistant stainless steel columns make this boom stand an excellent choice in labs and production facilities.

Superb Optics:
Multi-coated optical components, free form chromatic and spherical aberration, provide crystal-clear, high resolution images. The Greenough optical design provides superior erect, unreversed, stereoscopic images, rich in contrast, brightness and correct in their original color. Excellent depth of field and a flat image rendition are also characteristic of the EMZ Series product line.

Rugged Dependability:
All-metal aluminum alloy microscope bodies and components with chemical resistant finishes guarantee stability and rugged dependability for a lifetime of day-in and day-out use. Superior craftsmanship, quality components and materials result in long-lasting, high-performance products.

Ergonomic Design:
All EMZ Series zoom stereo microscope bodies feature a compact lightweight design. Every stereo body features adjustment diopter tubes and interpupillary distance adjustment. Observation tubes are inclined at 45°, 60° or 90° for convenient fatigue free viewing depending on the application, A range of fixed of tilting focus blocks are available to mount the microscope body onto existing O.E.M. equipment. A choice of Zoom, Turret or Fixed magnification bodies with various working distances, optional auxiliary objectives and eyepieces, multiple adjustable stands, versatile illumination systems, and auxiliary components allow the end user to design a system to fulfill their specific requirements.
