MT-16 is a Monocular Brightfield Compound Microscope equipped with a built-in digital camera is Meiji Techno’s line of affordable teaching microscopes that have a simple student friendly ergonomic construction.
These student microscopes are built to last, year after year. The magnification of this Monocular Compound Microscope with integrated digital camera ranges from 40x,100x,400x and 1000x. Ideal for biological use, this microscope is used by K-12, Middle School and High School Laboratory. This type of microscope requires that the specimen be mounted on a slide and held in place with stage clips.
The MT-16 is a Monocular model that only uses one eyepiece when viewing the specimen. The MT-16 is Meiji Techno’s entry level biological series which is light weight and inexpensive. One of the biggest benefits of owning a light microscope with a built-in camara is its simplicity and its convenience in projecting the image on a monitor or PC. A compound light microscope is relatively small, therefore it’s easy to use and simple to store, and it comes with its own light source. Moreover, because of their multiple lenses, compound light microscopes are able to reveal a great amount of detail in samples. Even an inexpensive one can reveal an incredible view of the world that would be impossible to explore with the naked eye. OBJECTIVES
All models are equipped with achromatic corrected 4x/0.13, 10x/0.25 and S40x/0.65 and S100x/1.25 objectives and a plain 123 x 119 mm stage with 2 object clamps except for the MT-14 which is equipped with an integrated mechanical stage. All optical parts are anti-fungus treated
