The MT4300LV Veterinary Series from Meiji Techno America is a upright Trinocular Biological Compound LED Microscope line engineered for everyday clinical workflows in veterinary practices. Ready to deploy out of the box, it combines a wide field of view with a smooth, precision mechanical stage for confident slide navigation. To fit a range of users and bench heights, the platform is available with binocular, trinocular, and ergonomic head options.
Built on Meiji Techno’s ICOS™ Infinity Corrected Optical System (200 mm tube length), the MT4200HV delivers flat, high-contrast images across a full suite of infinity-corrected U.Planachromat objectives (4×, 10×, 20×, 40×, S100× oil). An Abbe condenser (NA 1.25) supports crisp resolution at low and high magnifications, while coarse/fine focus with stage lock and tension adjustment ensures stable, repeatable focusing. Illumination is provided by a transmitted LED base with auto-voltage sensing for reliable performance in varied environments and power conditions.
In practice, the MT43000LV is a dependable tool for in-house labs performing routine cytology, hematology, and fecal examinations, as well as parasite and dermatophyte identification. Typical use cases include detection of protozoa (e.g., Giardia, Cryptosporidium), blood parasites (e.g., Babesia, Trypanosoma), ectoparasites (e.g., Demodex, Otodectes), fungal agents (e.g., Microsporum, Trichophyton), and helminth ova (e.g., Toxocara, Trichuris, Dipylidium/Taenia). The result is an ergonomic, practice-ready system that supports efficient case workups and confident, repeatable findings.

Brightfield:
The simplest of all the optical microscopy illumination techniques. Sample illumination is transmitted (i.e., illuminated from below and observed from above) white light and contrast in the sample is caused by absorbance of some of the transmitted light in dense areas of the sample. Brightfield microscopy is the simplest of a range of techniques used for illumination of samples in light microscopes and its simplicity makes it a popular technique. The typical appearance of a brightfield microscopy image is a dark sample on a bright background.
The MT4300LV Series is a newly designed upright biological compound microscope system. Ergonomically designed, precisely manufactured and simple to use stage and coarse and fine controls. To meet the demands of researchers and clinical laboratory specialists. The MT4000 Series was to develop to provide functionality and operational ease. Viewing high quality images, sample changing and photomicroscopy are all conducted with ergonomics in mind. High luminescent LED illumination reduces need for frequent bulb replacement but still provide rugged durability and long life span.
Advancement in microscope standards have led to the development of Meiji Techno Americas Infinity Corrected Optical System ( ICOS) with a standard tube length of 200mm. The objective length, the distance from the object to the shoulder of the objective is showing signs of standardization. Model MA815/05 is the Siedentopf-type binocular head and Model MA816/05 is the trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 ° with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm – 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work.The optional MA957/05, Ergonomic Binocular Viewing Head, has the inclination adjustable from 10 to 50 degrees to fit users of different heights. The Ergonomic Trinocular model comes with the MA958, photo/video attachment with sliding 80/20 beam-splitter (Included in MT4300ED).
