Meiji Techno America’s MT5200ELV Veterinary Series is our Preconfigured Compound Biological Series catered to the Veterinary market. The Veterinary series is a useful tool for any clinical practice. Many Veterinary clinics have in house laboratory microscopes. If you are a starting Veterinarian and in search of the most practical laboratory microscope with a wider field of view and smooth operating mechanical stage with a full suite of Infinity objectives which includes U. Plan achromat 4X, 10X, 20X, 40X, S100X oil. Equipped with an Abbe Condenser that is has a Numerical Aperture of 1.25, coarse and fine focus knobs with a stage lock and tension adjustment ring and a transmitted LED or Halogen light base that is auto-voltage sensing.
The Trinocular model is equipped with a CMOS Digital HDMI/ USB 2.0 camera with a 11.8” HDMI monitor for easy capture and documenting images which can be saved directly onto the supplied SD card (via HDMI) or PC (via USB 2.0). Measurement and annotation software included and can be accessed when connected directly to a PC via USB 2.0 connection, a 0.3X C” mount adapter is the interface for the camera and microscope for easy plug and play photo microscopy.
Brightfield:
The simplest of all the optical microscopy illumination techniques. Sample illumination is transmitted (i.e., illuminated from below and observed from above) white light and contrast in the sample is caused by absorbance of some of the transmitted light in dense areas of the sample. Brightfield microscopy is the simplest of a range of techniques used for illumination of samples in light microscopes and its simplicity makes it a popular technique. The typical appearance of a brightfield microscopy image is a dark sample on a bright background.
Phase Contrast:
An optical microscopy technique that converts phase shifts in light passing through a transparent specimen to brightness changes in the image. Phase shifts themselves are invisible, but become visible when shown as brightness variations. When light waves travel through a medium other than vacuum, interaction with the medium causes the wave amplitude and phase to change in a manner dependent on properties of the medium. Changes in amplitude (brightness) arise from the scattering and absorption of light, which is often wavelength-dependent and may give rise to colors. Photographic equipment and the human eye are only sensitive to amplitude variations. Without special arrangements, phase changes are therefore invisible.

The cast aluminum alloy metal stand has a chemical resistant finish and is the most rugged, durable finish in the market today. Equipped tension adjustment controls and a built-in stage stop lever to protect the specimen and objectives from accidental damage during use. The MT5000 Series offers an outstanding range of optical performance with an emphasis on all newly engineered high performance U. Plan optics. The new optics, provide exceptionally bright, crisp images with good color rendition and superior flat fields of view. The MT5000 Series have bigger stage and 30mm wider eyepiece compared to the MT4000 Series.

Some models has included software, that can preview and capture still shots and live videos to a PC or Mac with USB port or HDMI connectivity.
