The Meiji Techno MT5210EH is our laboratory-grade Ergonomic binocular phase contrast compound microscope engineered for precise, high-contrast imaging of unstained and transparent specimens. Built with Zernike phase contrast optics, the MT5210EH ensures accurate illumination by aligning the condenser annulus in the substage condenser turret with the corresponding phase plate located in the rear focal plane of each Phase objective, using a phase telescope for precise adjustment. Each objective requires a specifically matched condenser annulus diameter based on its magnification and numerical aperture (N.A.): the Ph1 annulus is paired with the 10X and 20X objectives, the Ph2 annulus is used with the 40X objective, and the Ph3 annulus, with the largest aperture, is matched to the 100X high-power objective. By properly aligning these optical components, the MT5210EH achieves optimal superimposition of light rays onto the objective’s phase ring, delivering clear, sharp, and high-contrast phase contrast illumination ideal for biological and clinical research.

VIEWING HEADS
Model MA815 is the Siedentopf-type binocular head and Model MA816 is the trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm – 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube & 20% to the eyetube.) The optional MA957, Ergonomic Binocular Viewing Head, has the inclination adjustable from 10 to 50 degrees to fit users of different heights. The Ergonomic Trinocular model comes with the MA958, photo/video attachment with sliding 80/20 beam-splitter (Included in MT5300ED).

EYEPIECES
10X Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22 are standard, and 15X and 20X eyepieces are available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts 25mm reticules is also available.

Meiji Techno offers a broad range of digital video cameras which offers excellent sensitivity, high resolution and a wide dynamic range for the most demanding brightfield and darkfield microscopy applications including clinical pathology and cytology, life sciences and geology. Some models has included software, that can preview and capture still shots and live videos to a PC or Mac with USB port or HDMI connectivity.
