FU-1000/38 Coaxial Focus Block

Coaxial focus block with quintuple nosepiece for Plan Epi Brighfield objectives, (RMS 20.32 mm thread x 36 TPI). Includes mounting bracket for 38mm post (MAC-11/PT#2) and requires mounting brackets (MA807) for “Z” axis digital indicator. Optional 20mm bracket available.

VIEWING HEADS
Erect image binocular heads or non-erect image trinocular heads for photomicrography can be used. (Viewing heads are not included.)

EYEPIECES
Paired DIN KHW10x, FN 20 (Eyepieces are not included).

OBJECTIVES
Meiji Infinity corrected S. Plan and E.Planachromat objectives can be used. See list below. (Objectives are not included with FU1000 or FU1010)

STAND
Flat-top stage: 171mm x 140mm surface with 80mm (X) by 52mm (Y) movement, graduated with vernier readings to 0.1 mm, detachable specimen guide, drop-down right of left-handed controls.

EPI - ILLUMINATION
This focus block accepts either a fiber optic light source with light guide and vertical illuminator (MA806) or an integrated 6V 30W halogen, full Koehler vertical illuminator (MA651/100). Illuminator filters include clear blue, clear green, polarizing, and neutral density (ND8) filters in mounts. (Illumination is not included with FU1000 or FU1010)

Based on ML7000 metallurgical components, the FU1000/38 Compound Optics Focus Block can be the starting point for a custom microscope designed to fit your application or a turnkey OEM/VAR solution. The FU1000/38 can use standard infinity corrected metallurgical objectives into its quintuple nosepiece.

This compound optics focus block can also mount on a wide variety of boom or pole stands or simply bolted onto any vertical plate accommodating the bolt pattern making it possible for it to be mounted virtually anywhere. The total focus travel is 40mm. Binocular viewing heads or trinocular viewing heads for photo and video applications are also available.
