EMZ-13: Microscope Head
The EMZ-13 body offers an extended zoom ratio of 7:1, the highest in its series. Modularity of design enables the user to select magnification from 3x – 420x. The large zoom range means the user can expect superb optical performance and maneuverability. The paired objectives are parfocalled and parcentered that guarantees observation of exceptionally high resolution images throughout a wide magnification range. The EMZ-13 series offer working distances from 34mm – 252mm. The EMZ-13 employs Greenough optics, for improved image flatness and contrast. As a result images are brighter and more distinct even at the periphery of the field of view. The EMZ-13 is suitable for precision-oriented semi-conductor, medical device and routine inspection. In addition to it’s compact design and versatility a wide variety of auxiliary lenses and stands are available to allow the user to customize their desired working distance to adapt to almost any work/lab application.

F: Focus Holder
Focusing holder with rack and pinion mount that allows smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. Coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment. Fits 20mm diameter, 71mm long mounting post. The 84.2mm diameter opening accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.

MA502: Eyepieces
Included is the MA502 Super Widefield Eyepiece 10X (pair) with 25mm reticle mount Field No. 23.0, Eye Relief 16.0, Focal Length 25.0

SAS-1: Articulated Arm Stand
This industrial-type swing arm stand has a 20mm diameter mounting post for our F, FX or FC focusing holders for stereo microscope optics. It provides complete flexibility for horizontal and vertical adjustment and integrates well with our EM Series Stereo Microscopes. Our heavy duty tilting and swiveling microscope mount allows the scope to swivel 360 degrees around a vertical axis and to tilt from vertical to horizontal positions. In spite of its flexibility, this heavy-duty mount can still securely lock the microscope in any orientation, even when loaded down with a large camera system. This mount also features a friction adjustment on the tilting motion to prevent the unexpected “flip-over” of the microscope upon release of the tilting lock. The sturdy solid metal 13 inch x 13 inch x 1.5 inch base (approx. 60 lbs.) with rubber feet provides excellent stability. Focusing holders for SAS-1 can be found on the accessories page.
